Automated Restarts & Schedules

How to set up automatic daily restarts to keep your server performance high.

Why Restart?

Minecraft servers (especially modded ones) tend to use more RAM the longer they run. A daily restart clears the RAM and keeps the server running smoothly.

Creating a Schedule

  1. Go to the "Schedules" tab in your panel.
  2. Click "Create Schedule".
  3. Name it (e.g., "Daily Restart").
  4. Set the time. For a daily restart at 4 AM, use:
    • Minute: 0
    • Hour: 4
    • Day of Month: * (Every day)
    • Month: * (Every month)
    • Day of Week: * (Every day)
  5. Click "Create Schedule".

Adding Tasks

A schedule does nothing without tasks. Click on your new "Daily Restart" schedule to edit it.

  1. Click "New Task".
  2. Action: Send Power Action
  3. Payload: Restart
  4. Time Offset: 0 seconds.
  5. Click "Create Task".

Advanced: Warning Messages

You probably want to warn players before the restart happens. You can add "Send Command" tasks before the restart task.
