How to Reset Your World

Want a fresh start? Here is how to delete your current world and generate a new one.

Warning

This action is irreversible! Once you delete your world files, they cannot be recovered unless you have a backup.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Stop your server completely.
  2. Go to the "File Manager" tab in the panel.
  3. Locate your world folder. By default, it is named world.
    • If you have Nether and End enabled, you might also see world_nether and world_the_end.
  4. Select the folder(s) by clicking the checkbox next to them.
  5. Click the "Delete" button (usually a trash can icon). Confirm the deletion.
  6. Start your server.

The server will detect that the world files are missing and automatically generate a brand new seed for you.

Changing the Seed

If you want a specific map seed:

  1. Before starting the server, go to server.properties.
  2. Find the level-seed= line.
  3. Enter your desired seed (e.g., level-seed=8675309).
  4. Save and Start the server.
