Connecting via SFTP (FileZilla)

How to access your server files directly for uploading plugins and worlds.

What is SFTP?

SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) allows you to transfer files between your computer and your server securely.

Prerequisites

Download and install FileZilla Client.

Connection Steps

1. Go to the "Settings" tab in your RYN Host Panel.
2. Look for the "SFTP Details" section. You will see your Connection Address (e.g., sftp://eu1.rynhost.com:2022) and Username (e.g., u1234.user).
3. Open FileZilla.
4. Enter the details:
   • Host: sftp://eu1.rynhost.com (without the port)
   • Username: Your Panel Username (e.g., u1234.user)
   • Password: Your Panel Password
   • Port: 2022
5. Click "Quickconnect".

You can now drag and drop files from the left side (Your PC) to the right side (Server).
